she still tweets me out. If they had an award for Coolest and most friendly
Twitter she would have a Golden Tweet.

Records for your Father's Day at DJWally57

Remember those days when you had to save your money just so you could buy favorite record or album?
You would babysit every cousin you had just so you could make enough money to buy that disco record of Donna Summers. Oh mind you if you were lucky to have a record player in your home. Then you play that record for hours. By the next day your needle broke, and then you would never play that record again. Maybe you forget to tell your parents you broke it, and then you would be grounded.
You could not babysit or even play outside with your friends. I associate records with diner's and soda shops. If you are lucky enough you can still find that old burger joint still there. Where you and your friends would go every Saturday eat hamburgers and dance til they threw you out.
You would put in a nickle or dime in the record machine and watch your record play. Yes the records were right in the machine. There are a few places out there just like that.
The most memorable thing was you could actually assoiciate that record with a favorite milk shake, or that hamburger. So everytime you hear that song record, and now a days on cd's or online,you could actually reminisce that moment.
How wonderful those days may be to your loved one.
